Principal's Bio
Kendra Wolf
My teaching career in Lexington began in 2007. I came to Lexington as a 2nd grade teacher and was welcomed by great students, faculty, and the community. I ventured to Elgin ISD for one year as a 3rd grade teacher, but quickly realized Lexington ISD was where I belonged. The 2017-2018 school year was my 10th year in the district and I moved into the assistant principal position at Lexington Elementary. I grew as an educator and leader the 3 years I served as AP. I am honored to begin this school year as the campus Principal. Lexington Elementary is a special place and I am overjoyed to serve as the leader.
Before coming to Lexington, I grew up in Katy, TX. I attended Katy High School and then obtained my undergraduate at Sam Houston State University. My first teaching position was at Giddings Elementary as a Kindergarten teacher. Education and community have always been important to me so I knew Lexington was where I wanted to be. The community is supportive of the school and the vision for the students. I completed my Masters in Education Administration at Lamar University in May of 2018.
Although education is a large part of my life, family time is a top priority. My family and I enjoy outdoor activities. My husband, C.J., and I stay busy with our daughter Kensley who shows livestock, plays every sport, and seems to be in every activity offered in the community. We all enjoy being outdoors riding horses, swimming, golfing, fishing, and going to the movies. I am excited about this opportunity and the years to come at Lexington Elementary!
