Principal Ladd's Message
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, but involve me and I will learn.” ~ Benjamin Franklin, At Lexington Elementary School, we will strive to include all stakeholders in the success of our Elementary School. My mission as your campus leader is to establish an environment of learning that develops the next extraordinary generation of 21st century thinkers. We will accomplish this by creating a robust educational experience for each one of our students through the hard work and collaboration of the instructional staff at LES. My goal is to recruit and involve as many of our stakeholders as possible including our families and community members to make LES the best school around. I firmly believe that an involved community creates a fantastic school. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for opportunities to serve at LES.
We will operate with three basic premises in mind: A safe and nurturing environment for every learner, A tailored learning experience for every learner and an increase in community and parent involvement for the success of every learner. My philosophy has always been that “Every Student Matters” and by this we will strive to develop a school that meets the needs of each and everyone of our students.
Be on the lookout monthly for my monthly newsletter that I will utilize to keep our families informed about the happenings at LES including important dates, learning opportunities, service opportunities and learning that is happening in the classrooms of LES! We will also strive to use campus and district social media sites to keep our families and communities aware of what is happening at LES. My door is always open and I look forward to meeting and serving my community. Foster Eagle Pride by being here and being involved in your school!
