Assistant Principal's Bio
I am entering my fourteenth as an active educator and I am excited and humbled to be serving as assistant principal at Lexington Elementary. This will be my first year in Lexington with previous experience at elementary, middle, and high schools primarily in Texas. From a military family, my childhood was one of several locations starting with El Paso, followed by Germany, and a few other states while I graduated high school in east Texas. Regarding my education, I earned my Masters of Business Administration at Regent University, and in 2018 I completed my graduate studies to be a Texas Principal at Lamar University.
After my wife and I have visited the area several times, I am drawn to and very happy to be serving Lexington. As a Texan family, the community and culture that we have seen of Lexington draw us to serve the community and hopefully call the area our home very soon. Beyond my wife Tracie and I, our family consists of our daughter Ariel married to Adam Hoch with our three grandchildren; Marshall, Austin, and Collins who are currently in Germany with the U.S. Army, and our son Addison with his wife Fennie.
While education is a major part of my life and an important part, my wife and I can be found together doing woodworking, antiquing, spending time with family and friends, bicycling, and much more.
