Principal's Message
Dear Lexington Elementary Parents/Guardians and families,
Welcome to Lexington Elementary School! We are so glad you are here! Our mission at LES is to provide education, experiences, and support to every student through partnerships with all stakeholders. “Every Student, Every Day” is our focus. Lexington, TX is a special place and the schools are at the heart of this community. We set our standards high and strive to ensure the community’s beliefs and values are the core of LES. We follow three school-wide rules: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe. We will model and teach the students how to follow these rules in all areas of our school.
At LES, we encourage our parents to be active in their child’s education. Please check your child’s “Tuesday Folder” for any graded papers or important school information that will come home in the folder, including field trips, school events, classroom updates, or opportunities for you to volunteer on our campus. You may also send notes back to the teacher in this folder such as transportation changes and notes addressing absences. This allows us to have an open line of communication with you about our school and your child’s progress.
